Talk about your hotel
Villa Ceci was born between 1860 and 1880 in the green countryside of Contrada Casadangelo, in Andria, as an ambitious project of the family who wanted a residence capable of combining elegance and functionality. Originally, the villa was inhabited during periods related to seasonal agricultural work, mainly in the production of oil and wine, the beating heart of the local economy. Over time, it transformed from a temporary stop-over place into a permanent residence, becoming an intimate and quiet home, the custodian of the most precious memories of generations.
A rebirth after the war
During World War II, Villa Ceci was commandeered by German troops and used as their headquarters. Toward the end of the conflict, during the retreat, a fire intentionally set by fleeing troops destroyed the stables and severely damaged part of the interior structure. It was only thanks to the family's commitment and vision that, after the war, the villa returned to its original splendor. The restoration, conducted with philological attention, preserved the architectural identity and authentic soul of the mansion, transforming it into a place where time seems suspended.
